Machalilla culture was actually just an attempt to improve the Valdivia culture artifacts and lasted only 800 years in the Pre-History of the Americas.
Besides inventing the deformation of the skull (aesthetic strong and afflicting motives) also traded their products and civilization radiated even more strongly ..... the towns grew and developed much more, the people of the Elite had the Alien head and seemed deformed ... had the cucumber-shaped head (hence were prettier than those Valdivia).

THE CORRERA CULTURE.
The Machalilla people only were inventing and testing artifacts and artistic styles that later explode in Chorrera culture and disseminated throughout the Americas (remember that the Maya also deformed the skulls, but only 1000 years later ).... Chorrera culture greatly improved in Vessels , their vessel are authentic works of art ,by themselves and I will show here only a few of the Museum.

Manteño, Milagro and Atacames
500BC to 1500 A C
These cultures were in fact a great confederation in his final days of existence.
The Manteños were the largest tribe, developed and dangerous in the area, dominated the southern shores of the Pacific while the Incas conquered the nearby mountains, the city was very big 3500 hectares (bigger than Machu Pichu) ... the actual name is "Cerro de Jaboncillo" not excavated in the moment.

One day , the sailors of Manteña culture as each day went to trade in their boats along the shores of the Pacific Ocean , and inevitably what happened had to happen, were found at sea with a boat higher, longer and more dangerous. ....... It was a Spanish vessel.
It was the end of the Pre-history in these lands and an evolutionary process of more than 5000 years and the beginning of a new story filled with injustice ....but also advances social, technical and religious.
